Applied Marks is a brand owned by GH PTM Pty Ltd (Griffith Hack), which is itself owned by IPH Limited (IPH), a public company that is the holding company for an international network of intellectual property professional services businesses which operate under different brands in a range of jurisdictions (each a Group Business). In addition to Griffith Hack, the other Group Businesses within the IPH group (IPH Group) are AJ Park, ROBIC, Smart & Biggar and Spruson & Ferguson.

For the purposes of the Australian and New Zealand Code of Conduct for Trans-Tasman Patent and Trade Marks Attorneys 2018 (Code), GH PTM Pty Ltd is an incorporated registered patent and trade marks attorney firm and a member of an ‘ownership group’ within the meaning of the Code.

The ownership group comprises AJ Park IP Limited (and affiliated company AJ Park Law Limited), GH PTM Pty Ltd and GH Law Pty Ltd (each entity operates under the Griffith Hack brand in Australia), Spruson & Ferguson Pty Limited and Spruson & Ferguson Lawyers Pty Limited. Additional incorporated patent and trade mark attorney and legal entities operating as ‘Smart & Biggar’, ‘ROBIC’ and ‘Spruson & Ferguson’ form part of the IPH Group outside of Australia and New Zealand.

Each of the IPH Group professional services attorney businesses of AJ Park, Griffith Hack, ROBIC, Smart & Biggar and Spruson & Ferguson operate independently from one another in the provision to clients of attorney professional services.*
